THC Syrup – A Sensationally Sweet Way to Medicate

As the world’s most famous nanny, Mary Poppins, once said: “A spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down,” and THC syrup goes down just as if not even smoother.

As the catalogue of cannabis strains, concentrates, extracts, and vaping juices continue to grow and expand, so too do our options for how to consume our favourite bud best to suit our particular weed needs.

One of the latest innovations in the world of cannabis products is THC syrup. Its name will likely clue you into the basic idea of what it is. Essentially, it’s weed in the same form, thickness and consistency as cough syrup.

Perfect for a wide variety of uses, such as mixing into your favourite tea or beverage. THC syrup allows you to enjoy your favourite icky sticky’s benefits without exposing yourself to the dangers of inhaling harmful carcinogens or plant matter associated with more traditional ingestion forms, namely smoking.

Not only that, but it is also one of the most discreet consumption methods through being odourless and not producing a thick cloud of smoke.

Today, we’ll be outlining precisely what THC syrup is, how it differs from lean, how to use it and how to make it yourself.

There’s a lot to cover, so let’s get straight into it!

What is THC Syrup?

what is thc syrup

As we briefly outlined above, THC syrup is a cannabis-infused product with the same relative thickness and consistency as regular cough medicine that you might take when you have a cold or the flu. However, this product isn’t just limited to those occasions. It can be used all the time!

Typically made up of hash oil or another form of cannabis concentrate, THC syrup is generally made with this base ingredient combined with vegetable glycerin, a sweetener of your choice, such as sugar, stevia or agave, and other additional flavours.

Overall, the effects of THC syrup are similar to other traditional types of edibles. This similarity means that the effects may take longer to kick in than smoking regular flower, but its healing properties and high will last longer overall.

That said, the onset time may be slightly quicker than traditional baked edibles. However, these products can contain a lot of sugar. So, like with any other indulgence involving your sweet tooth, you may want to enjoy them in moderation.

One of the most appealing factors of THC syrup is that you can buy some variation of it at most dispensaries or retailers where you can buy weed online. However, you can also make it yourself using a few simple ingredients. So, if you’re looking for a straightforward weed-infused little DIY project, this could be it!

Products available for purchase will come in a wide range of flavours that are usually distinguishable due to their packaging closely resembling traditional cough medicine containers.

The benefit of purchasing these items from a dispensary, however, is that they will clearly outline on the bottle how much THC it contains, usually in milligrams, to ensure accurate dosing every time.

In this way, THC syrups pose a plausible and reliable method for medicating and treating symptoms of various conditions, including pain, insomnia and nausea and vomiting.

THC syrup is perfect for medicinal users looking to receive an accurate THC dose without exposing themselves to the dangers of other more potentially harmful ingestion methods, such as smoking or making their own disproportionate edibles at home.

Like other concentrated cannabis-infused products, if you’re new to the game or haven’t tried these sorts of items before, it’s best to start with low doses and work your way up.

What’s the Difference Between THC Syrup and ‘Lean’?

THC syrup vs lean

For those who may not know, ‘lean’ is a term widely used throughout the rap and hip hop communities to describe prescription-grade codeine cough syrup mixed with soda. It also goes by the names Sizzurp, Purple Drank, Captain Cody and others.

Unlike THC syrup, which is just another variation of a standard cannabis edible, lean is a dangerous and unpredictable cocktail containing antihistamine, opioid (codeine), and typically alcohol, as well. You also can’t buy lean from a trusted retailer.

So, if you are ever presented with lean, you will likely not know for certain what exactly is in it.

Therefore, it wouldn’t be logical to even try to compare THC syrup and lean. They are completely different things. The only similarity you could draw is that they both get you high, but one at a significantly higher risk than the other.

Ultimately, lean is bad news. You should avoid it at all costs.

How to Use THC Syrup

Luckily, THC syrup is a very versatile product, making it incredibly user-friendly.

In fact, there is no one correct way to enjoy THC syrup. That said, we will outline some of the most popular ingestion methods for reaping the benefits of THC syrup below.

Like other concentrated cannabis products, the cannabinoids in THC syrup easily absorb the body when placed under your tongue.

The membranes will soak up all that delicious, medicated goodness and transport it to the rest of your body.

For this method, all you need to do is measure your desired dose and place it underneath your tongue. Hold it there for one to two minutes before you swallow, and you’re all set!

Just like Mary Poppins taught us! For this technique, you simply measure your dose, inject/place it in the spoon or directly into your mouth, and help the medicine go down (swallow).

Since it’s not sitting underneath your tongue, this ingestion method may take a bit longer to feel the effects. However, as we said before, since it’s in liquid form, it won’t take as long as other more traditional baked edibles, such as a brownie, to feel the magic.

In a Drink

If you aren’t necessarily a big sweet tooth, incorporating THC syrup into a beverage could be the perfect compromise.

Try adding some into some bubbly water or a cup of tea, and let the warm or tingly sensation add to the experience of the healing benefits it provides.

That said, the effects of THC syrup can be incredibly potent. As such, we would not recommend mixing it with alcoholic drinks. This combination will likely lead to a phenomenon known as crossfaded high.

Ingesting weed and alcohol together also increases your likelihood of green out significantly.

Not a fan of boozy drinks? Adding some THC syrup into a regular, non-alcoholic beverage could pose as a practical alternative at social occasions such as parties.

How to Make THC Syrup

how to make THC syrup

One of the biggest benefits of THC syrup is that it is effortless to make at home. It is a perfect DIY project for tokers looking to get a little more involved in creating their own edibles.

While there are many ways to create THC syrup, we will describe one of the most straightforward.

  • 6 grams ground cannabis (your strain of choice)
  • 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp vegetable glycerin
  • 1 cups water
  • Oven
  • Pot and lid
  • Baking sheet
  • Strainer or cheesecloth

  1. Preheat your oven to 121ºC (250ºF) and place your weed on a non-stick baking sheet. Cover the tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking. Insert the tray and set a timer for 30 minutes. This process will decarboxylate your weed and activate the THC.
  2. Add the water to your pot and bring it to a low boil.
  3. Add in the sugar and stir until it’s dissolved, stirring periodically.
  4. Add the glycerin and stir well until combined.
  5. Add in your weed and let the mixture simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Strain the syrup through a fine strainer or cheesecloth. Be sure to squeeze all of the syrup you can out of the weed inside.
  7. Pour the syrup into an airtight bottle or glass jar.

When you initially remove the mixture and bottle your newly-made THC syrup, it likely won’t be that thick. Don’t worry! It will thicken up a bit over time.

THC Syrup – Medicine in Every Sense

If you’re someone who appreciates convenience and discreteness without sacrificing potency, THC syrup is an ideal choice.

Free of the typical dank weed smell and without producing a notable cloud of smoke, this item is suitable for tokers of every experience level. It is also ideal for medicinal users and those who wish to avoid the potential harms and dangers of smoking as you are not combusting or inhaling any tar or excess plant matter.

Another appeal of THC syrup is that it is available at dispensaries, online retailers where you can buy weed online, and you can make it yourself at home!

Whichever way you choose to ingest it, the beauty of this product is in its versatility. The unifying factor is the rich benefits and easy to use consumption that allows all users to enjoy however they see fit.

Making Hemp Milk at Home

If you’re a weed lover, you’ve likely heard chatter about hemp and maybe even some buzz around the benefits of hemp milk. If you don’t know, hemp is essentially a cousin of weed.

Its primary difference lies in its not containing as much THC (the psychoactive agent in bud that gets you high) as its reefer relative. In fact, its concentrations are so low that the use and consumption of hemp are legal in most countries, even those yet to legalize the use of marijuana.

Hemp has many uses and benefits inside and outside the human body.

For the sake of this article, we’ll be sharing some of the internal benefits with you, along with giving you the inside scoop on making homemade hemp milk.

What is Hemp Milk?

what is hemp milk

Well, this is a no-brainer since the name says it all, but we’re going to tell you anyway. Hemp milk is milk made from hemp, the seeds to be more specific.

Tada! Cue ‘The More You Know’ star gliding across your screen.

Alternatively called hemp seed milk, hemp milk is a dairy-free alternative to cow’s milk. We’re looking at you, lactose-intolerant and vegan friends!

Some people consider dairy-free milk alternatives, such as almond milk or soy milk, knockoffs, and not “genuine” milk because: “almonds don’t have nipples” and “soy milk comes from plants, not animals.”

Honestly, if you’re dedicating energy to thinking about almond nipples, you may have a bit too much time on your hands – just saying.

Even still, our lactose intolerant and vegan friends need something to eat their cereal with, no? And let’s not get started on those allergic to peanuts or tree nuts?  What should they add to their coffee and smoothies? These people need options, too!

So, we’re here with another non-dairy milk alternative, hemp milk, that in the most basic sense is hemp seeds and water, along with thickeners and sweeteners in some commercial cases.

There’s something for everyone!

What Does Hemp Milk Taste Like?

Hemp milk might look like regular cow’s milk in many instances, but it doesn’t taste the same at all.

If you’ve had almond milk, then you should have a decent enough idea of what hemp milk should taste like. Its flavour is sort of like a nut-grain mix and has an earthy flavour when raw.

Of course, this will vary slightly between brands as many add their own ingredients to enhance flavours, such as sweeteners, salt, and vanilla extract. The texture may also vary.

In this way, you may have to experiment with a few different options and flavours to find the one you like best.

Does Hemp Milk Get You High?

hemp milk and high

If you are looking for milk to get you high, you should try out bhang because hemp milk is not it if you’re looking for a weed beverage to get you stoned.

Remember when we said the THC concentrations in hemp milk are low? In other words, no. It will not get you high.

The THC amounts are so low that there is no possibility of hemp milk supplying any mind-altering or psychoactive effects.

That said, if you’re looking to reap the benefits of hemp milk while also getting your daily dose of good old-fashioned THC, Sugar Jack’s has got you covered!

What if we told you that you could indulge in the classic nostalgia of cookies and milk with a little something extra added into the mix? It’s true!

Putting a new spin on an old classic, Sugar Jack’s cookies, available in a spice-tastic ginger molasses or old-school favourite chocolate chip, are the perfect treat to have the best of both worlds.

With 50 mg of premium, nano-emulsified THC distillate infused in each tender, chewy cookie, they’re an ideal element for a dynamic duo that will have you feeling positively sublime.

Pro tip: We recommend placing the cookies in the microwave for 30 seconds before indulging for optimal taste and texture. You can thank us later.

What are the Benefits of Hemp Milk?

Nutritional Data

Despite being a plant based milk alternative, hemp milk is just as nutritious as cow’s milk and contains a ton of essential vitamins and nutrients.

1 cup hemp milk contains:

  • 83 calories
  • 7.3 g fat (unsaturated essential fatty acids)
  • 10 mg sodium
  • 180 mg potassium
  • 1.3 g carbohydrates (600 mg fiber)
  • 4.7 g protein
  • 2% calcium
  • 7% iron RDI (1.4 mg iron)

Store bought milk is generally fortified with other nutrients such as Vitamins A, B12, and D, along with added sugars and artificial ingredients.

Unlike many other milk alternatives, hemp milk is a complete protein as it contains all the essential amino acids. It also contains omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids that are not produced naturally in the body.

Is Hemp Milk Good for You?

The benefits of hemp milk have been touted for generations. While some testimony is strictly anecdotal, other claims are backed by scientific evidence.

Let’s take a look at a few of them to decide if making the switch to hemp milk will be worth it.

It Can Decrease Your Chances of Developing Cardiovascular Disease

At first glance, the term “fatty acid” may seem like precisely the stuff you don’t want in your body, but the reality is, fats have a bad rep.

The body needs certain essential fatty acids such as omega 3 and 6 present in hemp milk to carry out essential bodily functions.

As it relates to cardiovascular health, Omega 3 fatty acid is key to regulating blood clotting and the contraction and relaxation of artery walls, reducing inflammation, lowering blood pressure, and improving blood vessel function.

Omega 6 fatty acids ensure the proper functioning of cells in the body and help lower bad cholesterol levels. This may help to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke.

It Promotes Healthy Skin, Hair and Nails

The vitamins, protein, and omega fats found naturally in hemp milk and those added to store-bought hemp milk are big-time supporters of healthy hair, skin, and nails.

These nutrients help to delay wrinkling, strengthen hair strands and weak nails, and decrease inflammation.

Hemp milk may also help to reduce the effects of conditions that affect the skin and hair such as psoriasis, eczema, and dermatitis.

It is Lactose, Gluten, and Soy-Free

Imagine being allergic to lactose, gluten, and soy. It sounds like hell, doesn’t it?

Well, hemp milk provides a milk alternative that is rich in calcium, protein, omega fats and other nutrients that allow these poor souls to enjoy foods that contain dairy, gluten, or soy.

It’s also great for persons allergic to nut milk such as cashew and almond milk.

It Supports Healthy Bones and Teeth

Since hemp seeds are rich in nutrients such as calcium, protein, iron, potassium, and others that support healthy bones and teeth, adding hemp milk to the diet can reduce your chances of developing bone and periodontal diseases in the future.

Are There any Drawbacks to Hemp Milk?

It goes without saying that hemp milk is not suitable for consumption for people allergic to cannabis or hemp. However, we’ll say it anyway.

It may also lower blood pressure and can be dangerous for hypotensive individuals.

How to Make Hemp Milk

One of the best things about hemp milk is that it is very easy to make. All you need are hemp seeds and water, plus a few tools to extract the yummy milk.

However, it is important to note that homemade hemp milk will not contain all the nutrients and vitamins of the store-bought variant.

Here’s a simple homemade hemp milk recipe you can try today:

Prep time: 2 minutes

Total time: 5 minutes

To make it, you will need:

  • 1/2  to 1 cup whole hemp seeds (You may also use hulled hemp seeds/hemp hearts, which are less bitter)
  • 4 cups water
  • Pinch of salt (optional)
  • Maple syrup or honey as needed(optional)
  • High-speed blender
  • Cheesecloth or nut milk bag or coffee filter (to strain)
  • Glass jar (for storage)
  • 2 tsp cocoa powder (optional, for chocolate milk)

Step 1

Add ½ to 1 cup of hemp hearts to 4 cups of water (for a thicker consistency, add less water, or use more hemp seeds) to the blender, along with the salt and optional ingredients if necessary.

Step 2

Blend for one minute or until ingredients are combined well. Add a little more of either component until the flavour is to your liking. Maple syrup and honey will sweeten the milk naturally.

Step 3

You do not need to strain the mixture if you don’t mind the chunky bits. Otherwise, use your straining implement for the smoothest texture.

After that, all there’s left to do is enjoy!

There might be a bit of extra pulp left after you strain it. Simply use it to make a hemp mask or scrub. You can store your hemp milk in the refrigerator for up to 5 days, and in the freezer for up to a month.

Stash Box – How to Ensure a Successful Sesh

A proper stash box is essential in every toker’s toolkit. If you’re smoking that good green, it’s going to smell incredibly pungent. The best place to keep dank weed safe, fresh, and smell-free is, of course, in a stash box.

But what sets a modern-day stash box apart from a simple weed kit? After all, anybody can grab a cardboard box, put their grinder, rolling papers, and whatever inside and call it a day.

Oh, yee of little faith, a stash box is so much more. It’s a dedicated stash of all the things you need to enjoy your bodacious bud, keep it fresh,  and keep it hidden.

It’s a safeguard for all your flower, concentrates, and accessories to protect them and ensure that they do not fall into the wrong hands.

Basically, it is your marijuana masonry.

What is a Stash Box?

what is a stash box

Essentially, a stash box, also known as a stash, is any container or kit used to house all of your smoking paraphernalia.

These items include accessories, such as grinders, papers, filters, vapes, and dabs, your smokables, weed, concentrates, vape cartridges, and the equipment needed to keep and maintain them in pristine condition.

While a weed kit might only contain a grinder, rollies, filters, and maybe a rolling tray, a stash box has everything you need to enjoy weed.

What’s in a Good Stash Box? The Basics

Smoking Accessories

Smoking accessories are the foundation not just for a stash box but for a weed kit, too. The basics include a grinder, rolling papers, filters (if you use them), hemp wicks, a rolling tray, and of course, a lighter.

Today, many kits offer a built-in rolling tray as well as an included grinder.

We think hemp wicks and filters are necessary, but hey, it’s your stash box! Do it up as you wish. If you use cones and blunt papers, be sure to include those too.

If you want to include concentrates into your weed stash box, you’ll want to include a mini dab rig and a mini butane torch as well. The same goes for vape pens and chargers, too.

Your stash box might be limited, so if dabs are important to you, upsize to a bigger container.

Smokeables and Containers

Smokeables are anything that you want to toke, smoke, or vape. These items include but are not limited to weed flower, dab concentrates, and vape cartridges.

This also includes the containers needed to keep the products you intend to smoke clean, fresh, and safe, such as glass, opaque, air-tight jars for fresh bud.

A weed kit might have you putting your flower into a film canister or a zip lock bag, but we’re talking about a stash box here. It’s about being classy, graceful, and elegant.

If you have the leeway, jars with humidity control packs inside are great at keeping and locking in the dank goodness of your weed.

A good stash box also has to be smell proof. That’s what they’re designed for, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t go the distance to keep weed fresh.

To preserve your terpenes, keep your stash aroma-free,  and maintain the freshness of the items contained inside, don’t skimp out on glass containers!

Extra Equipment

When things go south, you don’t want to be left wanting.

How many times have you arrived at your sesh spot with a joint or blunt in hand only to find that you left your lighter at home?

Ever want to hit a dab but find out that you’re missing a carb cap? Remember the frustration of wanting to clear another bong bowl but not being able to because you can’t clean out your weed pipe?

A stash box should be large enough to accommodate any necessary extra items. An extra lighter is fundamental, but if you really want to stay on top of the game, consider including these alternative items too:

An Ashtray

what's in a good stash box

You never know when or where you’ll be smoking!

Some people like to keep their stash box in the car for on-the-go seshes. If you smoke at a friend’s house or in your car a lot, you’ll want to include an ashtray to help keep things clean.

Eye Drops

We’ve all suffered from red-eye before. It’s one of the dead giveaways of being high that everyone seems to recognize.

If you’re someone that likes to “go for a walk” at family functions, including eye drops in your stash box is essential.

Pick, Pipe Cleaners, or a Multitool

Keeping glassware clean for a great smoking experience is just basic hygiene.

Okay, so bong water may not be changed as frequently as we might like, but if your glassware, vape, or dab rig gets dirty and clogged, it can put an end to your smoke sesh.

And nobody wants that.

Breath Mints or Gum

Another dead giveaway, dank breath is noticeable right away, but it’s not the symptoms that we’re worried about, it’s the cause.

Chewing on gum can stimulate saliva production, which can fight against cottonmouth and bad breath.

Stash Box – Your One-Stop Pot Spot

If you read through our list, you’ll now know that a proper stash box is leagues ahead of regular weed kits.

Not only do they include everything you need to smoke all of your weed products, but they also provide great post-sesh aftercare!

Live in a house with prying pets or tiny children? Keeping one of these all-encompassing containers is an excellent investment in keeping the contents inside fresh as well as discreet.

What’s in your stash box? Do you prefer metal or bamboo? Do you like boxes or bags? Let us know!

CBD Edibles – The Sweeter Way to Medicate

Weed has been utilized throughout history for many purposes, and CBD edibles and CBD gummies are a perfect example of combining the past’s applications with the present’s modern products.

However, there is a time and a place for everything, and the intentions behind cannabis use and the occasions for which it is enjoyed are not necessarily equal.

In other words, there is a time to be functional and medicate appropriately and a time to get so sky-high you could touch the clouds!

Both have their benefits, don’t get us wrong, but the intention is important.

For many, cannabis edibles pose a convenient and efficient way to enjoy both THC and CBD.

CBD is growing increasingly popular as a method of medicating and reaping the healing benefits of weed without experiencing the psychoactive effects of other variant strains higher in the cannabinoid THC.

CBD edibles are the ideal consumption compromise that does not require inhaling potentially harmful carcinogens associated with smoking, making them perfect for those looking to enjoy the benefits of CBD without any adverse side effects.

They’re potent, health-promoting and petite, allowing users to dose on the go conveniently and discreetly!

Today, we are talking about all there is to know about CBD edibles!

What is CBD? What you Need to Know About Cannabidiol

cbd gummies infusion

Cannabidiol, more commonly referred to as CBD, is a cannabinoid present in the cannabis plant that has been used for generations to treat a variety of health conditions.

CBD can treat anxiety, pain, and inflammation. Some research indicates that it could even be used to treat epilepsy and prevent seizures on top of helping with sleep conditions, such as insomnia.

Not only that, but CBD also shows a significant amount of promise as a promising anti-cancer drug, with many patients using it to treat cancer symptoms, including nausea, vomiting, appetite stimulation and relieving aches and pains.

Most notably, CBD is non-psychoactive. Unlike its fellow cannabinoid THC, which produces the effects typically associated with a “high,” CBD does not produce any psychoactive or mind-altering effects at all.

What’s more, much like how Gandalf said to Balrog in The Fellowship of the Ring, “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!” CBD inhibits THC’s ability to produce its regular high.

This ability allows consumers to feel more relaxed and at ease, enjoying the various healing benefits of CBD while still functioning and going about their day!

The Different Kinds of CBD

what are cbd edibles

While CBD does not possess psychoactive effects, some products contain trace amounts of CBD. So, it is important to provide a brief overview of the various kinds of CBD currently available on the market for education purposes.

Full-Spectrum CBD

Full-spectrum CBD is a CBD product that possesses all the cannabinoids found naturally-occurring within hemp plants.

Instead of fully isolating strictly just CBD compounds, full-spectrum products may also contain trace amounts of THC and other minor cannabinoids, which there are over 90 of.

Full-spectrum CBD is beneficial because all the cannabinoids work together to produce a phenomenon known as the “Entourage Effect.”

Basically, the Entourage Effect encompasses the benefits of all cannabinoids working synergistically to produce greater benefits and healing effects than they would on their own.

Under Canadian law, CBD oils must contain less than 0.3% THC by weight. While this is a tiny amount of THC for most consumers, it is important to be aware that it is present. It won’t get you high, but you might fail a THC drug test if you’re not careful!

Broad-Spectrum CBD

Unlike full-spectrum CBD, broad-spectrum CBD products contain some but not all of the cannabinoids present in the cannabis plant. Broad-spectrum CBD products may contain under 0.3% THC with one or a few other cannabinoids.

This is important to know if you are taking CBD or CBD edibles for medical purposes. If you work in a field or a position where drug tests are part of the process, the THC has a chance of showing up even if it’s a low amount!

CBD Isolate

CBD isolate is the purest form of CBD products that you can buy on the market. These items contain upwards of 99% pure THC with no other cannabinoids or compounds.

CBD isolate is the solution for those looking to medicate without ingesting any THC whatsoever.

Want to pass a drug test with flying colours? CBD isolate, or edibles made with CBD isolate is what you want!

What are the Benefits of CBD Edibles?

CBD gummies

CBD edibles are ideal for those looking to dose any time, anywhere, without drawing unwanted attention.

Not a fan of the flavour of marijuana or weed smoke? CBD edibles like CBD gummies are available in various delicious and enticing flavours.

In other words, not only do they supply numerous beneficial health effects throughout your body, but they taste good to boot!

CBD edibles also pose an excellent ingestion method for medical patients, such as those battling cancer, looking for a safe and efficient way to medicate and help curb various symptoms and treatment side effects.

Outside of these external elements, these CBD products are small but mighty, containing various health-promoting effects. These include easing anxiety and stress, fighting inflammation, combatting pain, and relieving nausea.

CBD does all this and more while allowing patients and users to remain functional by not producing any psychoactive or mind-altering effects.

Those taking CBD edibles, such as CBD gummies, can rest easy knowing they can medicate with ease while still being functional and perform tasks and responsibilities as they would normally.

What About Other Cannabis Edibles?

The benefits of cannabis edibles are not limited to CBD edibles. Many users turn to these products as a way to safely and effectively receive an accurate dose of THC, as well.

For example, our THC gummies, just like our CBD gummies, are crafted using only the highest quality ingredients to ensure a fun, tasty and trustworthy medication experience.

THC gummies

Each gummy is accurately measured to ensure that customers receive the same dose every time, taking the guesswork out of other alternatives, such as homemade cannabis edibles, that aren’t necessarily consistent.

Not only that, but we pride ourselves on using premium organic ingredients that are straightforward and as healthy as possible!

Instead of processed sugars, we only use pure cane sugar and naturally beneficial manuka honey to sweeten our products.

We believe that our commitment to quality and natural ingredients is what makes our gummies so delectably delicious!

Whether you need THC gummy to help you get the night rolling or some CBD gummies to help you get through it, our naturally sweet edibles are here for you!

CBD Edibles – All the Healing Without any of the High

It’s no surprise that CBD is growing in popularity as a natural alternative for consumers to treat various conditions.

They’re a fantastic way to relax and unwind, with CBD edibles posing the perfect vessel for reaping the healing effects of CBD whenever, wherever.

Just remember that there is more than one type of CBD. If you’re looking for the purest form that does not contain any trace of THC whatsoever, we would highly recommend purchasing a CBD isolate product.

Whichever variation you choose, be sure that you are purchasing your items from a reliable and reputable dispensary or retailer where you can buy weed online to ensure that the products you’re receiving are of the highest quality and safe to consume.

Whether you dose at home or on the go, CBD edibles are the perfect way to bite off the benefits of one of our non-psychoactive cannabinoids.

Enjoy and happy medicating!

Microdosing Weed – Experience the High Without any Lows

It may be surprising to hear, but microdosing weed is a simple yet incredibly effective method for reaping the benefits of your favourite reefer without getting carried away.

Weed is a wonderful thing. We totally get it. Still, even with your beloved icky sticky, there can be such a thing as too much of a good thing. That’s why understanding your tolerance level and adhering to the tried and true “start low, go slow” mantra is so crucial.

If you don’t, you could suffer the negative aftermath of what’s to come following an overly indulgent weed sesh, which could result in undesirable side effects, including greening out or experiencing a weed hangover the next day.

Sometimes with cannabis, less really is more.

Of course, if you’re responsible and stay within your limits, medical marijuana can present various healing benefits and fun psychoactive effects.

One of the best ways to ensure that you avoid these unpleasant experiences is by avoiding ingesting too much cannabis in the first place.

Microdosing weed may seem like something that would not produce the desired effects. However, this is not the case.

Thanks to some experimental users who have applied the same logic of taking other substances, such as mushrooms, we now know that the effects of microdosing weed are surprisingly great in small doses.

If you still don’t believe us, that’s fine. We’re going to prove it!

This article will outline what microdosing is, its multiple benefits, and how to do it yourself with different cannabis products.

What is Microdosing?

what is microdosing weed

A concept that originated in the world of psychedelics and the users that frequent it, microdosing is a simple concept that involves taking low doses of a substance.

In its most common usage, this technique is associated with ingesting substances such as LSD and psilocybin

Users sing its praises as a method of enjoying the amazing effects and benefits, including experiencing heightened creativity and productivity, without any real downside while still maintaining functionality.

With the legalization of cannabis being in effect in Canada for a few years now, many of those who may not have been fans in the past are growing more comfortable with the idea of experimenting with it.

Microdosing cannabis is appealing to those thinking of trying cannabis but are concerned with going overboard.

In fact, many people who have tried microdosing weed have reported similar results as those opting for microdosing with psychedelics – increased productivity, heightened creativity, and uplifted mood.

All this is possible without experiencing the adverse side effects that are sometimes associated with higher doses of THC, such as overbearing psychoactive effects, paranoia or anxiety.

So, if you’re new to the wonderful world of weed or have reservations surrounding trying it for the first time, starting with small amounts and a low dosage could be just what’s necessary.

It will also have you feeling more comfortable without you feeling like you’re losing your overall sense of control!

That being said, microdosing cannabis is still a relatively new concept and practice.

As such, further research is needed to perform a deeper dive into its therapeutic and beneficial effects. However, the evidence we have now is very promising and exciting!

What Does the Science Say?

weed science

A 2017 study carried out by the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Science at the University of Chicago, research indicated that decreased stress was unprecedented when patients were given a low dosage or microdose of THC.

Patients given 7.5 milligrams of THC were said to feel greater stress relief, decreased anxiety, and enhanced mood than patients given a 12.5-milligram dose.

A fascinating element of this study is that those patients administered the higher dose reported experiencing increased stress and anxiety and suffered from adverse side effects and diminished moods.

The standard microdose of cannabis is roughly 1-10% of a standard dose. Most users begin within ranges of 0.1-1 mg doses of THC as the starting point. The dosage can then be adjusted to suit the individual patient’s specific tolerance and desired effects.

While it may seem like you’d experience the same things, it’s important to note that microdosing cannabis is commonly known to produce different effects than standard doses of THC.

When medicating in small amounts, it is believed that the amount of cannabis necessary to reach the medical threshold is much lower than what most users would consider a standard dose today. In fact, higher doses and larger amounts of cannabis are not typically necessary to reap the benefits of cannabis.

With this in mind, here are some of the most common benefits and effects associated with microdosing cannabis:

Mood Enhancement & Stress Relief

microdosing cannabis benefits

People who have experimented with microdosing report feelings of stress relief and uplifted mood.

Low doses, such as milligrams of THC, have been linked to greater stress relief than regular doses, which can oftentimes contribute to producing the exact opposite results that the user is going for, thereby inciting more anxiety.

What’s more, the improvement in mood and alleviation of stress is not coupled with any perceivable psychoactive effects, meaning that low doses of THC produce little to no noticeable impact on cognitive function.

So, what this means is that a low dose of cannabis will help you feel more calm and relaxed while still allowing you to go about your day and function.

Improved Focus

micro dosing cannabis benefits

As we mentioned above, microdosing cannabis provides relief without the heavier psychoactive effects commonly associated with higher doses of THC impeding cognitive function.

Another example of this is users reporting that microdosing allows them to hone in and focus on tasks without being overly stimulated or distracted by the psychoactive side effects of THC.

Humour us as we give you a brief science lesson.

Different cannabinoids in cannabis, such as anandamide, function as neurotransmitters., which send chemical communications between nerve cells throughout the nervous and endocannabinoid system.

These elements affect areas of the brain that influence memory, thinking, movement, pleasure and concentration.

Because of this functional similarity, THC can attach itself to molecules called cannabinoid receptors, activating these areas.

Higher doses of THC do not enhance but instead disrupt various mental and physical functions, including attention span and the ability to focus. However, ingesting a low dose of particular THCV-heavy strains may help promote feelings of relaxation and alertness.

This is because THCV can provide effects such as mental clarity and improved focus, helping users be more productive.

Enhanced Creativity

weed creativity

With this newfound sense of calmness and increased focus, a low dose or milligrams of THC can also serve to diversify your thought processes and open your mind to new possibilities and considerations that you may not otherwise have thought about.

As we said before, microdosing with cannabis and ingesting a lower THC dosage will likely not impede cognitive ability. Instead, some users have stated that microdosing leads to an enhanced sense of creativity that allows them to broaden their horizons and be more open to receiving different perspectives.

So, microdosing presents the perfect opportunity to get in touch with your creative side, whether it’s drawing, painting, writing music, playing an instrument, or whatever that looks like to you. You never know. It could lead to the creation of some of your best work.

How to Microdose Cannabis

We have finally made our way to the main event, what you’ve all been waiting for – we are now going to explain how to go about microdosing cannabis properly.

As we initially stated, there are multiple methods of microdosing depending on the cannabis product of your choosing. Below, we will outline some of the most popular!

Microdosing with Sugar Jack’s

For experienced cannabis users, Sugar Jack’s 200mg THC Assorted Gummies hit that stoned-but-not-too-stoned sweet spot perfectly.

You might be thinking “wow, 20mg of THC per gummies is a lot, I don’t know if it’s right for me,” and if you are, you’re right. 20mg of THC is not a microdose that’s suitable for beginners.

However, for those that medicate every day, 20mg is perfect for a slow release of medicated goodness that won’t incapacitate you later on in the day.

Surprised? Some edibles available at an online dispensary Canada reach up to 500mg of THC, with some even for sale that has a whopping 1000mg of THC! That’s a full gram of THC in one gummy.

So in the grand scheme of things, 10mg is not a lot, especially if you’re medicating every day.

With that being said, recreational users and casual tokers should not expect a peachy, go-lucky experience if they confuse a veteran’s microdose with their own!

Microdosing with Pills/Capsules

THC pills

Portable and practical, CBD or THC pills are an ideal option for those who prefer microdosing cannabis in the form of edibles.

THC pills are also an excellent choice because patients, whether they purchase them from a dispensary or make them themselves, know exactly what dosage each capsule contains.

Most capsules are available at dispensaries in low dosages. Each individual pill is precisely measured with an accurate dose, making it easy and accessible for users to find a dose to their liking.

Capsules pose an incredibly convenient option for patients looking to medicate whenever, wherever in that they can fit in any purse, backpack, or even your pocket.

So, whether you’re at home on the couch, commuting, or at work, all you need to do is pop a pill, sit back, and wait to feel the healing effects.

Vaping Cannabis

thc vape micro dose

Microdosing cannabis can also be done using a vaporizer. Still, it is important to note that there may be a certain level of difficulty associated with receiving an accurate dose than tinctures or edibles. The effects will also not last as long as the former two options.

That said, if vaping is how you choose to go about it, you have a couple of options.

First, you could opt for a dry flower vaporizer, allowing patients to select the amount of dry bud they would like to use, including amounts small enough to be considered a microdose.

On the other hand, you could go with vaporizers with pre-filled cartridges containing cannabis concentrates.

However, this method makes it far more challenging to achieve a microdose because of how highly concentrated these cannabis products are.

Microdosing Weed – Same Cannabis Benefits, Lower Amounts

There you have it! Microdosing weed is straightforward and easy while still providing the same benefits from cannabis that we all know and love.

It’s also versatile and can be adapted to suit whichever products you prefer, including tinctures, capsules, and even vaporizers.

If you’re looking for a way to get the most bang for your buck and make your weed last longer while still reaping its benefits, we would highly recommend giving microdosing a try.

Who knows? It might just be your new favourite way to enjoy everyone’s favourite plant!

Happy microdosing!

THC Pills – A Portable, Pocket-Sized Way to Dose with THC

With the growing catalogue of evidence to support the claims that smoking is detrimental to your health, alternative ingestion methods, such as THC pills or THC capsules, used to reap the health and recreational benefits of medical marijuana are steadily on the rise.

It’s safe to say at this point that a majority of tokers know that smoking is bad for you, even if it is one of the most popular ways of enjoying weed.

That said, science doesn’t lie.

Smoking tobacco or cannabis can produce multiple adverse health side effects, such as inhaling tar and other unsavoury carcinogens, leading to more severe conditions.

In terms of longevity, many blazers seek healthier alternatives to enjoy their gorgeous green securely and for longer.

With this in mind, today we are covering one of the safest and all-around most convenient cannabis products for dosing THC whether you’re at home or on the go – THC pills.

In this article, we’ll outline exactly what THC pills are, their benefits, and even how to make them yourself.

Have we piqued your interest? Let’s get started!

What are THC Pills? What are THC Capsules?

what are THC pills

Commonly referred to as weed pills or THC capsules, THC pills are pretty much what they sound like.

They’re a portable, potent cannabis product most commonly created by infusing some variation of cannabis concentrate with a carrier oil. The mixture is injected into a gelatin capsule that you can easily pop into your mouth and swallow.

Examples of carrier oils include olive oil, MCT oil, or coconut oil, which create weed oil when mixed with cannabis.

While creating weed oil is rather straightforward and something that cannabis lovers can easily do for themselves at home, there are vital elements to consider to ensure it is created properly. But we’ll return to that point later.

These carrier oils are crucial for creating weed oil and consequent cannabis products, including THC pills. Medical marijuana itself is not all that water-soluble and won’t mix well with water.

However, it is fat-soluble, so a carrier oil is so essential for these products’ overall effectiveness.

One of the features of THC pills that many tokers appreciate is their versatility. THC capsules come in multiple ratios and sizes to suit various tolerance levels and dosage preferences.

The most commonly found sizes are 5 mg, 10 mg, and 25 mg.If you’re not looking to experience the psychoactive effects of THC, there are also CBD pills available for multiple retailers and dispensaries where you can buy weed online.

However, their versatility doesn’t end there. Users and retailers can create THC pills with various store-bought or homemade concentrates.

For example, you could use cannabis tinctures, weed oil, or regular flower if that’s what tickles your particular fancy.

The choice is yours!

What are the Benefits?

There are many benefits to using THC pills as your preferred ingestion method.

As we said before, one of their biggest draws is that users can indulge in the psychoactive effects of medical marijuana without having to worry about inhaling harmful toxins, like carcinogens.

In this way, they offer the most desirable effects of cannabis while also avoiding the harsher, adverse health side effects commonly linked to more traditional ingestion methods, like smoking.

They’re also awesome because they allow you to bypass other not so fun elements that come with smoking, like coughing so much it feels like you’re going to hack up a lung or burn your throat and lungs, which can cause lasting soreness that can last long beyond the initial sesh.

Both of these side effects are no bueno, as most blazers likely already know.

Suppose you have dietarily-restricting conditions, for example, diabetes. In that case, THC pills also pose a promising alternative because they don’t contain the immense amounts of sugars, additives, or carbohydrates found in a lot of cannabis edibles.

That said, we at Sugar Jack’s are dedicated to creating our products with all-natural flavourings, including Manuka Honey and cane sugar, to present a safer, more transparent product for our customers.

But hey, we get it.

Sometimes you don’t want to medicate with a sweet nightcap after brushing your teeth, or you’re worried about blood glucose levels after eating something a bit sugary.

So, in this way, THC pills are an excellent option because they are less likely to lead to blood sugar spikes. Even if you merely have the New Year’s resolution of watching your figure and committing to a healthier lifestyle, THC pills are great for that, too.

Perhaps one of the biggest appeals of THC pills, however, is the driving force behind what influences many tokers’ decisions surrounding cannabis products – potency.

This feature, in particular, is truly THC pills’ time to shine.

Get ready for a badass bud science lesson.

Since they are technically cannabis edibles, THC pills must travel through the digestive system, liver and make their way through the GI tract before they are fully absorbed.

When your body ingests THC, it is converted by the liver and the digestive system into a metabolic byproduct called 11-Hydroxy-THC or 11-OH-THC.

Typically, metabolic byproducts are less active than their initial forms once they are broken down. However, this isn’t the case for 11-Hydroxy-THC.

 In fact, the opposite happens.

Once metabolized, it becomes even more potent than its original form, THC.

If you’ve ever wondered why edibles seem to be stronger than smoking regular bud, this is why.

The conversion of THC into 11-Hydroxy-THC is what causes edibles to be so effective and potent for medical patients and recreational users.

So, if you’re looking for a stronger cannabis product that will cause you to get even higher, THC pills are a good way to go.

What’s more, another righteous benefit of THC pills is that you don’t necessarily have to buy them.

If you’re looking for a fun cannabis-infused DIY project, you can even make THC pills from the comfort of your own home!

How to Make THC Capsules

how to make thc capsules

As we said before, THC pills are widely celebrated for their versatility, and this feature extends to how easy they are to create, allowing users to make them themselves at home if they feel so inclined.

We also mentioned that you could create a THC capsule using various cannabis products.

Today, we will be featuring three primary and popular examples of making THC pills at home.

Method 1 – Using AVB

already vaped bud

Vaping has quickly become one of the most popular methods for weed lovers to enjoy their favourite bud. Still, if you think that your weed is useless after vaping, you’re sorely mistaken. So, before you empty your vape and toss the remnants, known as AVB or already vaped bud, in the trash, think twice.

Most seasoned blazers may already be aware of this fact, but THC needs to be “activated” to produce its effects and benefits for those who may know. This process is known as decarboxylation. While the term itself may seem overly-scientific, it’s actually very simple in terms of what actually occurs.

Basically, decarboxylation is the process of exposing cannabis to heat in order to “activate” the THC present in your weed, thereby promoting and bringing forth the excellent effects that we all know and love.

This activity is why, even though it contains many health benefits, eating raw weed will not get you high.

So, if you’re a frequent vaper, be sure to save your AVB because you can use it to create THC pills with the added bonus of cutting out the necessity for the decarboxylation process since the bud has already been activating through exposing it to the heat when you initially vaped it in the first place.

In this way, all you need to do is take your AVB and pack it into your THC capsules, and you’re good to go!

Method 2 – Using Fresh Flower

If you don’t have any AVB lying around, that’s okay, too! You can also use fresh flower to create THC pills. It just requires the additional step of decarboxylating your weed.

If you’re intimidated by this, don’t sweat it. We’ll walk you through it.

First, we’ll start with the materials you’re going to need to decarboxylate your weed and make weed oil at home:

  • Weed grinder
  • Fresh flower (duh)
  • Your carrier oil of choice (olive, coconut, MCT oil, etc.)
  • Gelatin capsules
  • A syringe
  • Cheesecloth or coffee filter
  • Parchment paper
  • Frying pan
  • Oven

Step 1 – Decarboxylating Your Weed

That’s right. Decarboxylating your weed is such a straightforward process that it only serves as the first step for the overall creation of THC capsules with fresh weed.

Using your weed grinder, grind up your bud, but not too finely. Next, cover a baking sheet in parchment paper and preheat your oven to 105° C (220° F).

Spread your now-ground cannabis evenly across the baking sheet and place it in the oven. Bake it for approximately 35 to 40 minutes or until the buds appear light brown.

Be sure to flip the weed halfway through the baking time to ensure full coverage and that all of it is activated. That’s all there is to it! You have officially completed the decarboxylation process.

Easy, right?

Step 2 – Infusing Your Carrier Oil

Whether you opt for olive, MCT, or coconut oil, place your carrier oil of choice in a frying pan on the stove and put it on a low simmer. Once it is properly heated, mix in your decarboxylated weed and stir incrementally for a minimum of one hour.

A word of advice, the longer you leave the bud/oil mixture on a low simmer, the more potent the end product will be. Still, that said, you can leave it on for too long, which will cause the oil to turn black and develop a distinct and unsavoury bitter taste.

So, we would recommend removing the mixture from heat after three hours max.

Step 3 – Filling Your Capsules

Once the allotted cooking time is complete, remove the decarboxylated weed and carrier oil mixture from heat and strain it through the cheesecloth or coffee filter and discard whatever is left over.

Allow the newly-formed weed oil to cool entirely before pulling it into the syringe to your desired dosage level and injecting it into the gelatin capsules. Once filled, you can store your THC capsules and any remaining weed oil in the fridge for months at a time.

However, you must take the proper storage measures to ensure optimal results, meaning you should use an airtight, opaque container.

Method 3 – Using Tinctures

Okay, so you don’t vape, and you also don’t want your house to smell like a grow house – what are your options for making THC pills and capsules?

You can skip the entire decarboxylation process by moseying yourself on over to an online dispensary Canada and grabbing yourself a THC tincture.

THC tinctures offer concentrated doses of both THC and CBD in liquid form, so if you want to skip the DIY weed oil process, you can pick up one of these tinctures and fill your gelatin capsules with them.

Of course, one might ask why you would want to make THC pills when you already have a THC tincture on hand, but nobody’s here to judge. Sometimes, you just can’t keep a fragile glass bottle on your person at all times – they just don’t have that kind of durability.

THC pills on the other hand, do, and you can easily put a couple in a zip-lock bag and medicate when you’re away from home, on an outdoor excursion, or at work!

THC Pills – A Discreet Way to Dose on the Go

As we’ve outlined throughout this article, there are nearly countless benefits to trying THC pills.

They are an excellent method for switching from more traditional ingestion methods, such as smoking, to a safer, healthier, and more sustainable way to enjoy a dose of THC and reap the benefits of your favourite icky sticky.

They also serve as an extremely convenient and discreet way to dose on the go without drawing too much attention to yourself, with the advantage of being pocket-sized, making it easy to transport and take whenever, wherever your stoner heart desires.

Additionally, if you’re looking to dabble in a fun DIY project with some bodacious bud or AVB, you can easily make THC pills at home.

However, if you’d rather skip the creation process, just visit an online dispensary Canada where you’ll find dozens of THC pills in different potencies, ratios, and even flavours!

In that case, if you do choose to purchase instead of make, all that’s left to do is sit back, relax, and wait to experience the healing effects.

Have fun and enjoy!

Best Stoner Movies – 7 Movies to Fuel Your Movie Marathon

Movies and weed have had a symbiotic relationship since the day they were incepted, blossoming a wide variety of best stoner movies to suit every toker. Any regular weed user can tell you that if you’re high enough, anything can seem like a blast, especially in the case of movies.

As far as the vernacular goes, almost any movie can be considered a stoner movie so long as you’ve smoked enough weed. In fact, you might be surprised that some of the greatest films to watch while high sometimes have nothing to do with weed.

If you want to talk about immersion, weed has been documented to have a remarkable effect on enhancing a person’s sensitivity to the senses. When you smoke weed, not only do your visuals get an extra injection of vividness, but your sense of hearing, smell, and touch also get a boost as well.

So, if you’re watching a movie after taking a few puffs, there’s a high chance you’ll be entirely immersed in what you’re watching.

That said, we’ve created a list of some of the best stoner movies to watch whether you’re half baked or sky-high. So, if you’re looking for some ideas for your next stoner movie binge, keep on reading!

What is the Appeal of Stoner Comedy?

The world of cannabis is entrenched with its own variants of slang and humour. Most notably, the stoner stereotypes and memes that are so pervasive throughout the internet and human culture.

In particular, Stoner comedy typically plays on those stereotypes, exaggerating them and making fun of them in a lighthearted way that is often innately relatable to consumers of all experience levels, from novice tokers to expert smokers.

Although stoner comedies are a great watch while sober or high, you’d be missing out on some prime real estate if you were restricting yourself to watching this genre of movies solely while high.

To further elaborate, here is a list of some of the, in our opinion, best stoner movies to watch after eating an edible, taking a few puffs from a joint, or whatever weed ingestion method tickles your particular fancy.

Best Stoner Movies to Enjoy While High

Fans of the cyberpunk genre of science fiction will enjoy this long-awaited sequel to the original Blade Runner

Blade Runner 2049 stars some of the original movie’s cast, including Harrison Ford, integrated with modern film staples, such as Jared Leto, Ana De Armas, Ryan Gosling, and Dave Bautista. Although Blade Runner 2049 is relatively slow in terms of pace, the world it creates is like no other.

The attention to detail in the environment and characters allow the viewer to be completely immersed in the universe. Blade Runner 2049 focuses on themes of humanity, empathy, and morality for the philosophical tokers out there, making it one of the more serious films on this list.

The Nice Guys (2016)

A hidden gem in the world of comedy films, The Nice Guys is an American Neo-Noir action-comedy starring Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe.

The movie takes place in Los Angeles during the 1970s as a mismatched pair of private eyes take on a series of cases related to a missing girl and the mysterious death of a pornstar.

A combination of witty humour and physical comedy, The Nice Guys, provides a breath of fresh air in the comedy movie realm and is a great watch for anyone looking for a good laugh.

The Disaster Artist (2017)

“The Disaster Artist”

A rework of the original movie The Room (2003), The Disaster Artist is a modern rendition of what was widely considered one of the best worst movies ever made.

This time around, the movie is filled with all-star actors including the Franco brothers, James and Dave, Seth Rogen, and Allison Brie. With the original film achieving cult status success, The Disaster Artists builds upon that success and gives viewers a reason to laugh and cringe at the same time.

All in all, The Disaster Artist is essentially a movie about the behind-the-scenes antics of making the best worst movie of all time.

The Hurt Locker (2008)

Directed by Catherine Bigelow and starring Jeremy Renner, Anthony Mackie, and Brian Geraghty, The Hurt Locker is the godfather of military thrillers.

The Hurt Locker is an intense portrayal of an elite army bomb squad tasked with one of the most dangerous jobs in the world, disarming Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). As the squad is plunged into the heart of chaos, they struggle to contain their leader as he wildly behaves as though he is indifferent to death.

The Hurt Locker is one of the most suspenseful thrillers out there and an overall amazing film and performance.

Pineapple Express (2008)

An iconic stoner film featuring Seth Rogen and James Franco, Pineapple Express is arguably one of the most influential stoner movies of recent history. In this way, it will feel like familiar ground to novice and experienced tokers alike.

Filled with ridiculous antics, a plethora of stoner references, and a dash of hilarity, Pineapple Express is an excellent example of one of the best stoner movies.

Cloud Atlas (2012)

Trippy is an understatement for this film. Cloud Atlas follows the story of six individuals with six different timelines, each with its own unique environment and story.

Cloud Atlas takes the viewers on an emotional journey as they explore how human action impacts one another’s lives in an ever-changing world, even generations down the line.

While Cloud Atlas is already trippy to watch while sober, it becomes a whole new animal after you’ve munched on some edibles.

The Beach Bum (2019)

Matthew McConaughey and Snoop Dogg in the movie “The Beach Bum.”

The Beach Bum is equally entertaining as it is ridiculous. Featuring an ensemble of Hollywood behemoths, including Matthew McConaughey, Snoop Dogg, Isla Fisher, Zac Efron, and Jonah Hill, The Beach Bum is filled to the brim with wild and wacky characters while being situated in geographically one of the most notorious states in America.

Moondog, a washed-up, free-spirited individual, is forced to channel his inner creativity to complete America’s next greatest novel.

Along the way, drugs paired with unexpected events put Moondog under a great deal of pressure as he tries to complete his goal.
